I was a live in caregiver for my elderly father(mid 90's) who recently passed. Oversaw all medical needs, including doctor appointments, hospital and rehab visits, and medication management. Assisted with bathing/dressing needs, as well as cooking, light housekeeping and running errands. I have experience monitoring blood pressure, blood glucose levels, and temperature. Also have experience dealing with catheters and watching out for UTI symptoms. I am also very familiar with the need for care to prevent falls and the rehabilitation requirements and care needed following hip replacement surgery. I thoroughly enjoy being a caregiver and helping others. It is a very rewarding experience.
