About Karena

I greatly enjoy working with adults, and have done so in various settings, from nursing homes to long term and short term rehabilitation centers as an occupational therapy assistant. As such, I am adept at bathing, toileting, feeding, transfers (moving someone from one surface to another), and companionship. I believe in a person's right to privacy and independence, and will only do what you and your loved one are comfortable with. I feel that seniors have much to teach and share with others, and I love to learn from them as I serve them in their times of need. I am caring, empathetic, lighthearted and hard working. When in my care, your loved one will be safe, comfortable, and heard.
