About Karen

Hi! My name is Karen. I recently moved to Billerica and am looking to connect with a new family. Caring for others has been an important part of my life for years. In Colombia, I trained in nursing and participated in a government program focused on working with children. During my 3 years in the U. S., I have continued caring for children and individuals with disabilities as a PCA/PCE. I have extensive experience creating sensory, educational, and developmental activities that encourage learning through play, creativity, independence, and fine motor skills. I also record some of my activities so families can see examples of my work and what I can offer their children. Spanish is my native language, and if desired, I can provide natural Spanish immersion through play, songs, activities, and daily routines. I am patient, caring, responsible, and committed to providing a safe and enriching environment while respecting each family's preferences and parenting style.
