About Kara

Hi! My name is Kara and I am currently a fifth grade teacher in Arlington, Virginia but relocating to the South Bay in January 2027 for my husbands job. I graduated from The University of Georgia with a Bachelor's of Science in Elementary Education and a Minor in Human Development and Family Sciences in May 2020. I have over 6 years of nannying experience and 4. 5 years of teaching experience in elementary and pre-K classrooms. I am passionate about supporting children in their learning and growth. I have experience working with newborns through children age 12 years old. I am in search of a part time or full time nannying or tutoring gig. Please reach out if you think I may be a good fit for your family!
