I'm Kara. I would love to be your nanny! I have been a FT nanny for the last two years; both infants & school aged kiddos. Before I worked in Criminal Justice & SW for 30yrs. Engaging with infants is my favorite, although I've worked with different ages. I like to make baby laugh & be silly as appropriate. I've done sleep training with infants & am familiar with other methods as well. People who know me say I'm kind, compassionate, dependable, loyal, loving, & organized. I feel accomplished when the household is flowing; so when you come home from work, you get to spend your time with baby. I like being in & outside sharing all the different experiences with baby. Learning through exp/play is great for Core Memory. I swim & enjoy introducing babies to swimming, eventually my goal would be to teach them how to swim. I have a BA & several hrs of training related to human behavior, mental health, & development. Recently, Infant Development & Utilization of Space for Learning.

Kara helped us out last minute babysitting our 2 year old son. Our son took to her right away and it’s obvious she really enjoys caring for kids. Communication was great and we would absolutely recommend her to anyone and hope to have her back in the future! She also brought us fresh vegetables from her garden - so kind and thoughtful.
