About Kara

I'd describe my personality as outgoing, energetic, creative. I like tutoring because I love connecting with kids and being able to see the moments that something "clicks" when a student understands something! I'm looking for a job that helps makes other peoples lives easier. I love being able to lend a helping hand in the way of tutoring, house cleaning or pet care. I started tutoring when I was in college. I have worked with children in some capacity for the last 15 years. I have been a certified teacher teaching 2nd and 3rd grade for the last 6 years. In my spare time, I like to go to Disney, hangout with my cat, Summit and be outside in nature. One thing you should know about me is I am reliable. If I tell you I will be there or that I will I do something, I will do it. My skills include math, science and reading. I have taught all of these subjects in my classroom and have a big focus on math and science.
