About Kara

Hello! I have 8 years of PreK experience in a classroom setting, 2 years in home nanny experience AND 3 kids of my own! I'm currently seeking one day of work a week or to be an occasional fill-in for your nanny or for date nights! I am SIDS certified, AED/first aid/CPR certified, have my Early Childhood Education certificate, play ground safety training, medicine administration training, neglect and abuse recognition training. I love playing with children through imagination and teaching them through play-based learning! I want to make everything fun! I enjoy puzzles, building forts, coloring and using those fine motor skills on rainy days. Outside activities I enjoy are having picnics, playing tag, going on scavenger hunt's & "bear hunts". I am soft spoken and gentle but can be stern when I need to be! I strive to be the best person I can be and to be the person I would want, around my own kids. Have a wonderful day!!!
