Teaching summer piano lessons and tutoring AP music theory! I am a classically-trained pianist currently majoring in Music Composition and Piano at the University of Denver. I have 10 years of playing under my belt, and I'm excited to share my knowledge with others! I believe learning piano should be fun and engaging, and that the student shouldn't feel that they have unrealistic expectations set on them. The piano is a wonderful instrument and a fantastic output for self-expression. I teach beginner to beginner-intermediate students. I prefer students to have a piano or an 88-key keyboard at their home with weighted action. If your home does not have this, I am happy to bring my own keyboard for lessons, but it is necessary for the student to have something to practice on or somewhere to go.
