About Kara

My name is Kara and I was a nurse's aide in the mom/baby unit in Lancaster, for two years. I switched to the oncology unit recently in my professional career as a step towards my dream of working as a pediatric oncology nurse. Previously I worked as the lead teacher in the infant room at Lancaster KinderCare for three years. I am a very loving and fun person, but I take my job and the welfare of children very seriously! I have my BLS certification and I am trained in infant and child first aid. I have taken the full CDA course. I have all my clearances relevant to working with children. I have my own car, and a clean driving record with no history of accidents, tickets, or insurance claims. I have no criminal record. I work night shift, so I am able to watch children during the day and overnights when I am not working! I will be moving to England sometime later this year (likely early autumn) so fixed-term positions are my preference.
