About Kara Jean

I taught English (speaking, reading, writing) in South Korea for 7 years. I would coach students with their public speaking as my students used to often join in speech competitions. I taught my students speaking, reading, and writing from grades 1 to 8. After South Korea, I got certified to teach grades K-6. I worked at a Montessori (grades 1-5) as a reading specialist. I also worked as a tutor in Sylvan, helping kids from kindergarten to high school with their reading and math. Occasionally, I'd help high school students with their ACT/SATs.
