I am a specialized teacher for those with a wide range of abilities from birth through 21. I am CPR certified and have an AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card with the AZ Department of Public Safety. Kara was appointed by the Governor in 2018 and currently serves as Chairperson to the Behavioral Health Advisory Council. The Council advises the Department of Social Services, Division of Behavioral Health on statewide treatment, prevention and rehabilitation needs within the current behavioral health system. Kara is a very passionate advocate for persons served. She is articulate, compassionate and knowledgeable and has been a tremendous asset to the Council.
