I am presently a permanent nanny to a 12-year-old. I have been with him for the past 9 years on a full time basis. As his nanny and as he grew up my duties have gradually changed to fit his needs. From planning and implementing age appropriate activities, play dates, bathing, meal preparations, laundry and keeping his areas clean and organized, to include drop off and pick up from school and after school activities, as well as homework supervision. I also assist mom in the scheduling of and accompanying to any needed Doctor and dentist appointment. I have also accompanied him in international travels. Prior to my present position I was a nanny to a 3-month-old baby. I was her nanny for 5 months. As a nanny, I was in charge of taking care of all the baby's needs such as feedings, bathing, napping, cleaning and sanitizing as well as laundry. I have 18 credit hours in Early childhood Education and prior to being a nanny, I worked as an assistant teacher at a preschool in Tokyo Japan.
