Hello, my name is Kambria and I am a Behavioral Neuroscience Master's student. I have 10 years of experience working with children of all ages in a babysitter, nanny, coach, tutor, and medical capacity. I love working with kids in any capacity, but I especially love to do active and outdoor activities with kids. I am infant, child, and adult CPR and first aid certified and have worked in an emergency department as well as Children's Hospital making me prepared to handle any emergency that may (but hopefully won't) arise. My recurring availability calendar is both up to date and reflects my Fall 2024 semester availability. Kambria was beyond incredible. She baby sat for the first time for us last week and the day after our (very hard to impressive) 4.5 year old said "I really liked the new baby sitter." It was completely unprompted. As soon as she came in, she engaged our 4.5 year old and got him involved in the house tour. She knew exactly how to meet and match his energy and he loved it. I've never seen him warm up to a new care taker this quickly! She didn't get to spend too much time with our 1.5 year old because he got home late with his dad, but she had him giggling and showing her his dinosaur book almost immediately. She also happened to be scheduled for what turned out to be an incredibly hectic day for us and absolutely rolled with the punches. We didn't think we'd be able to make it out for or pre-planned date night but Kambria helped us salvage it. And she even did the dishes which was such a huge welcome surprise at the end of the night! I cannot recommend her enough.
