About Kalina

I'd describe my personality as curious, enthusiastic, and pragmatic. I like working with kids because there is always an opportunity to learn and create safe environments to grow together! I'm looking for a job that is consistent and intentional. I want to help families feel taken care of and supported by their community. I started working with kids when I was a teenager. Since then I have continued to do care work with youth. These days much of my time with kids are spent with my siblings who brighten my whole world! In my spare time, I read, do puzzles, watch films, hang out with friends, volunteering at local gardens, and attending art events. One thing you should know about me is I love to play! As a theatre artist, I deeply enjoy the seriousness of play and honor all types of styles. My skills include sharing quality time, talking out emotions, being present and reliable for the essential needs: food, transportation, safe space.
