About Kalia

Hi! I'm Kalia. During the school year, I work as a teacher's aide at an afterschool program with 4-11-year-olds. I assist with homework, supervise snack time and coordinating outside play. For the last 12 months, I have worked varied days and times of the week as a babysitter with infants to 7+ years. Aiding at the after school program has given me a lot of experience handling multiple young children and their different needs. I know how important it is to remain neutral, gentle and understanding in all situations. This has a positive affect on the children's behavior as well as making them feel seen and valued. I am passionate about working with children and nurturing their learning and development. I hope to hear from you soon to see if I am the right fit for your family!
