About Kaiya

I'd describe my personality as fun, creative, and passionate. I enjoy working with kids because there is something about the creativity that children possess that I love. They are unapologetically themselves, like we all were at one point in time as children and it is so important to protect that positive outlook that children have on the world while also encouraging their dreams. They also help us reconnect with our own inner child! I took Early Childhood Education 1 & 2 in high school and volunteered in the infant room at a daycare. I also have a younger cousin that I babysat a lot when she was younger. I was responsible for picking her up from school, taking her to/from ballet classes, preparing dinner, and just spending time with her in general while my Aunt and Uncle were at work. I also grew up with three siblings, two older sisters and a younger brother, so i'm naturally used to being around other children coming from a larger household.
