About Kai

I have a B. S. in Psychology from UW - La Crosse. I have loved working with children since my first childcare job in college where I worked at a residential facility in La Crosse, WI called Chileda, where I worked with children who had diagnoses including Autism, Reactive Attachment Disorder, Oppositional Defiant Disorder and Down Syndrome. I also have experience providing medical care as I worked with a young boy with Cerebral Palsy and provided G-tube care, medicine administration, and assisted with several seizures each day. Additionally, in recent years I have gained more experience with typically developing children ages 5 mos. - 6 years while providing part time child care for friends and family. I am CPR certified, a non-smoker, and comfortable with pets. I'd be happy to answer any questions you may have for me!
