About Kaitlyn

Hello, my name is Kaitlyn. I was born and raised in Grand Rapids, MI and I am a full time musician. I love to learn, challenge myself, read, write, drink tea, bake, climb trees, travel, dance (even in rain), run, bike, eat sushi, and love the people around me. I am very down to earth, very active, and laugh a lot! Why Child Care? I am the 7th of 9 children in my own family, and grew up caring for my two younger siblings. Around the age of 11, I began babysitting for family friends and did various jobs babysitting, house sitting, and watching pets throughout my teen years when people needed help. I've worked with newborns all the way through 13-year-olds, and have also been a camp counselor, a small group leader for pre-teen girls, and have taught English at two schools in India to 7-16-year-olds. The longest I've work with one family was for a year; I cared for their three daughters ages 2, 5, and 8.
