About Kaitlyn

I love working with children because God has given me a heart to nurture, guide, and encourage them. Caring for little ones reflects His love and helps them grow in joy and kindness. I began babysitting as a teen, later served as a camp counselor, worked as a registered behavioral technician with special needs, and cared for students in after-school programs at Meadow Brook Elementary. For 8 years I have taught English online, and now as a homeschool mom of three boys, I pour into children's growth daily. In my spare time I enjoy nature walks, journaling, fun outings to the zoo, library, and museums, running, photography, and Bible study. Growing up as the oldest of 12 in a foster care family, I learned firsthand from my parents, recognized as top foster parents in Michigan, what excellent child care looks like. My top skills are providing nurturing care, adapting to each child's needs, and engaging children creatively.
