Our nanny became family quickly to my son and I. She provided compassionate consistent care for him during a difficult time in our lives. I was admitted to the hospital for an extended period of time of months. He was a toddler at the time and needed extra love and assurance that I would be okay. She made sure to make trips with him to visit the hospital and made sure to keep him on a consistent schedule that reflected the schedule I had when we were home. She read with him, spent one on one time playing with him and comforted him when he needed it the most and when he would miss me, his mom. As a single mom myself, it gave me comfort knowing he was with her. He spent me many 24 hour periods and many multiple days with our nanny. After my time in the hospital, they developed an unbreakable bond as did I. Could not of asked for a better soul to care for my son. She deserves to be recognized as someone trusted and loved beyond measure.
