About Kaitlin

I am a fun loving babysitter who enjoys playing outside, arts and crafts, and dance parties (sometimes more than the kids do!). My early experience with children has been through long term babysitting jobs for neighborhood families all the way through middle school and high school. Additionally, I volunteered in a Big Brother program where I was matched with a Little Sister for two years. After high school, I worked as a teacher's aid in a preschool for children with autism. These experiences taught me the importance of patience and trust with small children as well as how to build up longer term relationships with older children and how to be a positive mentor. I love connecting with children about nature as I am studying biology in school. No one gets more excited and passionate about science than children. I am active and excitable and I always try to connect with kids about what they care about and learn them too! From soccer to painting to video games- I am eager to try it all!
