About Kaitlin

I like working with kids because it reminds me to slow down in life and take in the world more like a curious child does. Working with kids is fun and being a part of the team that supports the growth and wellbeing of a child is really fulfilling. I started working with kids when I was 15. I babysat all throughout high school and then was an after school nanny my senior year of high school. I was responsible for picking up the children from school, taking them to after school activities, helping them with homework and getting them set up for the next day. In college I was a nanny for another family with 3 children under the age of 3. There I worked from the time the kids woke up until getting them ready for bedtime. In my spare time, I like to read, cook, wake surf, spend time outside and work out! My skills include having a background in childhood development and clinical mental health counseling, I have a lot of patience, and am very compassionate.
