All my life even as a child I've always been drawn to the elderly. I have taken care of a husband and wife in their 70s for over 4 yrs. The wife had MS. I was their driver, medication filler, errand helper, anything and everything 7 days a week. I have worked part time caring for a 99 yr old lady. I had the pleasure of caring for a 94 yr old lady for 2 weeks bfor she was placed into assisted living due to falls and mini strokes. my most recent was an 82 yr old stroke patient for the past month. I gave her bed baths, transferred from bed to wheelchair, fed her, changed her depends, brushed her teeth, and made sure she was comfortable. I would love to take care of your loved one as well. Kai has been a life saver for our family. She’s compassionate, caring,honest,trustworthy and is able to anticipate needs before they occur. She recently has been helping my stepmom whose disabled get to and from doctor appointments. She plans out the route and makes sure she is aware of when my stepmom is getting care sick. She talks her through the ride to and from letting her know how many more minutes before arrival. She helps her down the ramp, puts away her Rollator in the car after use. You know what to expect from her and she’s honest about what she’s able to do and not do. She will hang out with my stepmom to make sure she’s ok before she leaves. If you need a caregiver who anticipates the needs able to sit with your love one and provide basic care and compassion she your person.
