Hi there! I'm Kai - a playful, trustworthy, expressive, warm hearted former teacher and half marathoner. Ready to partner with you to provide compassionate care that meets your family's unique needs! My favorite thing about working with children is empowering them to be confident in their free will while being respectful of others. As an auntie of 8, I model patience and kindness, and am firm when needed -- without being scary! Based in Jersey City and willing to travel, I'm looking for one time jobs and part time jobs. I have 20 years caregiving experience, most recently as a teacher. At 15, I started babysitting children aged 1 to 12 and was a camp counselor for children aged 5 to 10. I have tutored youth aged 7 to 20 for many years. I'm a freelance project manager in tech, so my schedule is flexible. When I'm not working, you'll find me at museums or plants to add to my jungle.
