About Kailana

Hello, I am a certified Postpartum and Infant Care Doula. I have a passion for supporting families through navigating their postpartum journey by equipping parents with the necessary skills to feel confident in welcoming your newborn to the world. I have had the opportunity to work with several families over the past 6 years as a career nanny. I taught kindergarten and fifth grade through a teaching internship while studying Child Development and Family Studies. Prior to my doula/nanny career path I was a swim instructor at the YMCA where I guided the mommy-and-me classes with infants and the water acclimation courses with toddlers. I work very well with newborns and infants and love being given the opportunity to interact with children, so that I can provide a fun and safe environment for their creativity to grow.
