Currently working as a high school counselor, I have years of experience in childcare. Growing up the oldest of 5 children, I was exposed to taking care of those younger than me for years. After high school, I went to college and worked in a daycare setting. Upon graduating with a degree in Psychology, I worked as an RBT for 3 years, with children/adolescents ages 18 months - 20 years with autism. I moved to Phoenix about 1 year ago, when I started my Masters degree in Mental Health Counseling for Children and Adolescents. I started off as a social worker for foster care and adoption in the valley. I have now been working at a charter high school as the counselor. I have a passion for teaching and caring for children in a variety settings. I have extensive education in developmental psychology and know the importance of having a stable and secure routine for children. I am also fully BLS certified and can provide credentials.
