Love her!! she will always be our favorite nanny and my kids still talk about how much fun they had with her. She’s thorough, gentle, patient, creative, and very resourceful, punctual and professional. Natural nurturer for sure and great with kids. As a single mom I struggled to balance all the things while working long hours and she was always willing to stay later, or finish the tasks I asked her to like clean the kitchen, do my kids laundry, make sure they are bathed and ready for bed. Keep the living room areas tidy so it wasn’t added to my mental load. She also helped a bit with homeschooling things for my (at the time 4/5 year old). My son was just turning one when she started watching them. After I believe the first 6months- year, I felt comfortable with letting her take them to fun places like the local lake, the zoo, and the beach with another safe sitter and friend. She’s a gem and will always have a place in our family for her.
