I'd describe my personality as adaptable, energetic, and compassionate. I am looking for a full-time position with an employer who values clear communication and a work-life balance. I enjoy caring for seniors because I believe in fostering a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment where seniors can thrive physically, mentally, and spiritually. As an Activity Director at a behavioral health facility, I specialize in creating tailored activities and events that cater to the interests and abilities of each individual. Due to my background in Psychology, I choose to take on a person centered approach. I enjoy engaging seniors through arts and crafts, music therapy, cognitive enhancement activities, or gentle exercise routines. I think fostering a sense of autonomy and purpose is important for seniors, and I am committed to promoting their overall well-being and quality of life. In addition, I have some caregiving experience as well as experience working for seniors on hospice.
