About Kaela

I'd describe my personality as caring, patient, and creative. I love working with kids because there's never a dull moment with them. They never fail to put a smile on my face, and I never get bored when I'm around kids. Making them feel understood and supported brings me joy and is why I love my job so much. At 12 years old, I started watching my cousins for short periods of time and worked my way up to babysitting other families. In 2021, I began working at Wise Swim School as a swim instructor. In my time there, I've worked with children of all ages, including children with special needs, and I've also been promoted to deck supervisor and front desk member, out of the water interacting with our swimmers. Last summer, I joined Ecumen Seasons as a resident assistant for their assisted living and memory care units. I've gained so much knowledge and experience caring for the elderly community and I've received training on caregiving, basics of nursing, first aid/CPR, and more.
