About Kaela

I am a college graduate that is currently enrolled in a doctorate program to become a pediatric physical therapist. I am highly experienced in childcare of all kinds. I have been a swim instructor, paraprofessional at Western Pennsylvania School for Blind Children (WPSBC) , camp counselor, tutor, gym teacher assistant at The Children's Institute, rehab therapy aide at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, and have overall been surrounded by children my entire life. At WPSBC where children with a wide variety of mental abilities attended I worked in the residential program where I was responsible for assisting with and managing all hygiene needs including showering, changes, etc. , creating activities such as crafts, exercise activities, spa days, etc. , and ensuring the children were safe and secure while sleeping. I am experienced and comfortable with caring for a wide range of physical and mental abilities.
