About Justin

Hello! My name is Justin, and I'm an independent educational consultant looking to fill my remaining availability with tutoring students. I'm an enthusiastic, energetic teacher and I have the experience to back it up. Previously, I taught for 5 years in a high school classroom; wrote curriculum for big-name publishers; provided test-prep tutoring for ACT, PSAT, and SAT; developed and managed an online learning program; supervised, trained, and mentored fellow teachers in principles and best practices of teaching; and oversaw all academics for a network of charter schools. If credentials and awards are your thing, I'm a double-major (math and economics) Barrett honors grad from ASU, Master of Education, 2x Teacher of the Year recipient (2015 Southwest Kaplan and 2018 local high school), and veteran United States Marine.
