Hi! I am looking for part-time summer work as well as tutoring during the school year! I currently work for Kansas City, Kansas Public Schools USD 500, as a Special Education teacher for Early Childhood (preschool- ages 3-5). I have a master's degree in Early Childhood Special Education from the University of Kansas- birth to Kindergarten. In the last 10 years I have worked in multiple settings with young children of various ages and abilities, including positions as a swim instructor, nanny, and teacher's assistant at a private school.

From the moment we met Justine during her interview, we were impressed (and hoped she was as taken by us as we by her!). Throughout the time she was with us (~8 weeks over the summer), she exceeded our expectations in every way. She was calm, dependable, mature, warm, fun, and an expert in her craft. She was thoughtful and intentional in all she did - some days creating needed structure, and on others, allowing for flexibility and creativity. She incorporated more casual trips to the park and pool with activities with a more academic feel, all in collaboration with, and input from, us. Most importantly, our kids adored her and we trusted her. We'd hire her again and again.
