About Justin

Hi! I am Justin, a 25-year-old young professional in DC, looking to transition into the child-care space. A bit about me, I was recently accepted into a program in DC that offers a MA in Teaching with a focus on Special Education, while working alongside veteran teachers. I begin in Fall 2027 and would like to gain more experience with children (including special needs children) in the meantime. I hold a BA from American University in Communications, Law, & Economics. My professional career has included working on Capitol Hill and on K Street as a paralegal. I have experience working with children ages 6-12, and limited experience working with Autistic children, though I would love an opportunity to work more closely with special needs children & families. In my free time I like to read, write, and visit museums. I like to stay active outdoors by hiking, biking, swimming, fishing, etc., and would love to share these hobbies with your child, and engage in theirs as well!
