My name is Julita, I am a Polish nurse with 28 years of caregiving experience. While in Poland, I worked in a hospital setting in the intensive care unit. I also served in the military as a paramedic and nurse. I served in both Iraq and Afghanistan. Once I moved to the United States, I began working with individual patients in their homes. I have worked with patients who suffer from Alzheimer's, dementia, ALS, and other debilitating diseases. My children are grown and living their own lives, so in my free time, I enjoy spending time with my chickens and my dogs. I also have a passion for cooking. I love reading books, especially medical detectine stories, as well as social psychology books. Whenever I can, I spend time in the gym. Julita was an excellent caregiver for my disabled elderly uncle. He looked forward to her friendly visits each day. She helped him with all his daily needs and he loved the meals she prepared for him. Anyone would be fortunate to have her caring for their loved one.
