Hello! My name is Julie and I am a CPR/First Aid certified and college educated babysitter/nanny with 10+ years experience based in Nashville, looking to nanny for a great family this summer. I began my babysitting journey at 14 years old in Tampa, and have continued working with families ever since. In my time in Nashville, I have nannied for three wonderful families. On top of my childcare experience, I am an experienced tutor in various subjects for children of all ages. At Duke University I was the program director for a mentoring and tutoring organization for refugee youth ages 4-14. I was also a tutor with Thrive Tutoring in Nashville for over three years. I am comfortable with children ages 6 months-17 years and with multiple children. I have a car and can provide transportation to/from school. We were lucky enough to find Julie via Care.com in August 2019. She has been our after-school nanny for the school year for our 8 year old daughter. We cannot say enough great things about Julie. She is caring, friendly, professional, dependable, creative, kind, smart, trustworthy, everything you could ask for when looking for someone to watch your little one. She ensures that homework gets done and helps her study for tests. Julie has also helped with Spanish tutoring, which has been so beneficial as our daughter attends a Spanish immersion school. We cannot say enough good things about Julie, she's become like a part of our family this year.
