Hello! My name is Julie and I am married and 58 years young. I have raised 3 well adjusted kids and am now a grandma! I've enjoyed children for many years! I owned an in-home daycare for 17 years in Minnesota, was a director at a daycare center for 1 year, and a nanny for 10 years in Louisiana--jobs that I obtained through Care . com. I have much experience with infants to 10 years old and have also lead and supervised children's programs as a community ed. director and taught Sunday School classes through the years. I have many references available--the 8 families I have nannied for in Louisiana, 1 family in Delano, MN, for 2 summers, and many daycare families in Minnesota would be willing to visit with you. Julie nannied for my 6 year old daughter for 5 months. She is fantastic, a gem. She is an incredibly upbeat person, 110% reliable, a lot of fun, but also parental while comfortable to be with. From picking up my daughter to bring her to extra-curriculars (for eg gymnastics where Julie would stay to watch practice for 30 minutes just because she is awesome, without extra compensation!), to library/playground time, making my daughter lunch/dinner, making home tidying fun, doctor’s appointments, to stepping in when needed without advance notice (eg my daughter needed to be home from school sick AND driving my dog 5 hours away for expert veterinary care after she was hit by a truck, and refusing compensation!). Always happy to help with misc errands and housework. Julie is all around amazing and became a great friend as well very quickly. Julie was dropped from the heavens into our little family. She is THE BEST.
