About Julie

I was a 2nd mom when I grew up with 5 younger siblings, so naturally I helped a great deal. I nannied my sisters newborn baby for 1 year so she could go back to work right away. I am a mother of a 3-year-old and often do child care trade with friends who have 2 and 3 children. I spend every day with children. I also did an awareness and body work training course that has greatly helped my ability to remain calm and empathetic with children while also maintaining healthy boundaries. I continue to educate myself on how to guide and support kids through their feelings/experiences while providing a safe space. And I love arts and crafts and time spent outdoors to enrich a child's time with sensory experiences.
