About Julie

From raising my children and teaching to having a daycare in my home, and then losing my husband to heart disease; I have loved and cared for people. My father-in-law lived with us for his last 2 years of life. I came into full time home care when an acquaintance asked me to help with his wife suffering from dementia. What a rewarding experience those next 3 years were! With the help of other professionals, Shirley had excellent care until she passed peacefully at home. Around this time, I also cared for another private client for 2 years in New Jersey, whom I thoroughly enjoyed. (Reference gladly given). For the past 3 years, I've been working with 2 home care agencies: in New Port Richey, Florida and in Rhinelander, Wisconsin. Please feel free to contact them for a reference. Julie is very passionate at care-giving and treats her clients with compassion and respect. She is skilled at providing personal cares to those who may or may not have physical or mobility issues. She is detail-oriented, self motivated, very personable and requires little supervision. Julie also has astute assessment skills and communicates her concerns to the appropriate person. Her previous clients would comment how much they enjoyed her companionship. Julie invests time to get to know her clients likes/dislikes and "goes above and beyond" what is expected of her to bring joy to their day.
