Hello! My name is Julie. I'm a 31-year-old teacher who is looking for a position as a summer babysitter/nanny and/or a date night babysitter. I currently live in Hoboken but I am very close to the path station/many buses which means I have quick and easy access to almost all of NYC. I currently teach first grade in Bergen County but before that I worked as a nanny to an active 1-year-old girl in NYC for four months (reference can be found below) and then a nanny to two amazing boys in NYC for almost three years. Besides my current work, I have been a counselor then director of summer camp, a counselor then director of an aftercare, a tutor, paraprofessional for two children with special needs, substitute teacher, babysitter for children as young as 1-month-old and was a part time nanny on and off for the same family for five years (only off when I was teaching, in which they had someone fill in for me when I was gone).

Julie is a full-time nanny for our, now, 16-month-old daughter and has been with us for over 4 months. Unfortunately, we are now moving to Boston, otherwise, would have loved to continue working with her. Julie's responsibilities included feeding our daughter, taking her to the park, classes, playdates, and playing with her at home often during cold and rainy days and sick days. Julie has an incredible level of energy throughout the day and our daughter absolutely loves her. Julie is extremely reliable, punctual, careful with our daughter (we are never worried about her being out), flexible to our needs (my husband and I have demanding jobs), follows all instructions and requests, and actively participates in the development of our daughter. We've always felt like she truly cared about her and we couldn't be more grateful to have had her!
