I am writing with high recommendation of Julie. I have known Julie for seven years, having worked as assistant principal at the same school where she was a Reading/Library Specialist. Julie challenges her students and provides hands-on differentiated lessons. She is extremely resourceful in preparing and presenting thorough curriculum, and radiates a genuine passion for education. Her attentiveness to each student is commendable, and her classroom management skills are highly effective. In addition to teaching creative and engaging lessons, Julie literally built an all-school library, which required extensive research, numerous hours of implementation, and enhancement of a variety of text technologies. She develops respectful relationships with students, including numerous English Language Learners and their families. She is clearly dedicated to both the academic and social success of young people, and strives to provide life-learning experiences throughout her lessons. Julie is a natural leader of academics, highly respected by her colleagues, and brings a sincere, positive energy to the any learning environment.
