About Julienne

Hi! My name is Julienne or "Julie" for short. I'd describe myself as a fun but nerdy person. I love working with kids because I enjoy seeing the world from a new perspective. I'm looking to help families, through babysitting and/or petsitting. I started working with kids in high school as a babysitter and a camp counselor. During college I enjoyed guiding elementary schoolers through fun science experiments. I also volunteered teaching kids healthy snack recipes as part of a local childhood nutrition initiative. In my spare time, I like to read books, picnic, and watch movies. One thing you should know about me is that I have my degree in biology and am currently completing a research fellowship, so I always have cool science facts to share! My skills include science education, reading and homework help, and being child, infant, and adult CPR-certified. I am also an experienced pet sitter/ dog walker.
