About Julie

I am a married, 53 yr. old mom of three, ages 28, 25, and 20. I homeschooled them through 8th grade. Our son graduated from Butler and works in NY. Our second son earned his Masters in Biblical Studies at Grace College and is a newlywed. Our daughter is double-majoring in Studio Arts & Creative Writing at IWU. I have served as a small group leader/mentor in our church's high school ministry as well as with our infants/toddlers for church, Bible Studies, and MOPS. I have led groups of youth at church camp and youth conferences. I led the girls in my daughter's American Heritage Girls troop, a K-12 Christian scouting program, for 11 yrs. Professionally, I have worked as: an asst. preschool teacher, a special needs teacher asst. for a 4th grader with Down Syndrome, and as a substitute teacher in CA public schools for K-8th. I have nannied all ages - from just hours old through teens - and currently nanny for newborns overnight. I love it!

Julie is so wonderful! She is truly a nice person and has a huge heart, especially for children. She was our first nanny for our baby girl for 14 months and I was super nervous, but she eased my mind so quickly and took such good care of our little one. She knows what she is doing and has such great knowledge and plays and teaches children while having fun! We miss her dearly as our main nanny, but she still fills in for us when we need someone! She became part of our family and is truly one of kind!
