About Julie

I'd describe my personality as attentive, playful and proactive! I like working with kids because every day is different, and each child has a unique personality. I enjoy being someone they look forward to seeing, whether that's through fun activities, homework help, or simply being a trusted presence! I started working with kids when I was 15. As the oldest of three girls, caring has always come naturally to me. I was a nanny for the same family for three years until I moved away for college, and now my sisters work for that same family. I value consistency and building strong relationships with both children and parents. I'm looking for a position based on trust, open communication and mutual respect. In my spare time, I like to be outdoors (swimming, hiking, walking, running), spending time with friends and family, reading, trying new restaurants and cooking! One thing families should know about me is that I treat every child I care for as if they were my own younger sibling.
