About Julie

Hi! My name is Julie, and I am a local first grade teacher. I have 15 years of experience teaching and tutoring kids ages 4-12. While I tutor in all subject areas, I specialize in teaching phonics, reading, and spelling. I was trained in the Orton-Gillingham method and use a variety of multi-sensory methodologies to make learning fun and engaging. Partnering with parents is one of my greatest joys. I see our partnership as a catalyst to helping each child meet and exceed their learning goals!
