About Julie

Hi! I am a certified teacher in both Florida and Pennsylvania. I am currently teaching math, science, and wellness at the middle school level while also tutoring for both math and language arts. I have a Bachelor's of Science in Education and have experience teaching all core subjects at the middle school level, as well as health and physical education at all levels. I am especially talented in math, but feel comfortable tutoring a wide range of subjects depending on the needs of your child. I studied health and physical education at Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania and was selected to study at the University of Physical Education and Sport Sciences in Budapest, Hungary for a semester on a scholarship. I have a younger sibling with down syndrome and have worked with children with disabilities all my life, both at home and through years of volunteering. My unique skill set and strong background in social and emotional learning can be applied to any subject.
