I have taught for over 25 glorious years in both public and private schools. I specialize in Reading and Language Arts in the primary grades, focusing on phonics, fluency and comprehension. I also teach explicit instructions on how to focus on genre and answer questions from a story that pertain to text evidence. I teach writing format and English grammar and syntax. I am a certified teacher in Pre-K through 3rd grade with ESOL endorsement. I also tutor in Math application and computation. In addition to teaching, I am a published children's author, "2004," and presently just signed a contract. My book will be live in the next few weeks in audible books. As a certified teacher in Miami Dade Schools, I have a complete background check and fingerprints on file. Driver's License states, Safe Driver.

I worked with her at Gateway Environmental K-8 Learning Center for over 10 years. She was a kindergarten teacher for several years and also taught first and second grade. She is an excellent educator! She uses various methods in order to reach the needs of her students.
