About Julie

I love caring for seniors because seniors often have life experiences and stories to share, allowing me to connect with history. Seniors are to be treasured and I love the relationships that are built which bring joy, companionship, and mutual respect! I'm looking for a job that allows me to make people smile, allows me to listen to help those who need a listening ear and some engagement. I am looking to be someone that can be trusted and I am looking to care for someone who genuinely wants a friend! I started caring for seniors when I was in High School when my grandpa moved in. Also, my mother was diagnosed with bladder cancer. I spent months taking care of her. I also cares for my autistic brother. In my spare time, I like to garden, spend time with my kids (one is in college, one will be a senior at Milton Academy, and my son is 12 and will be in 7th grade. The elderly are so special. I love the idea of helping someone locally.. to feel that I can make a difference.
