About JULIE

I'd describe my personality as fun, bright caring, playful, and responsible. I like working with children because they are curious, funny, and insightful. I am a mom of two grown boys. Both are active, bright, and social. I enjoyed taking them to parks, playgrounds, museums, and group activities in Seattle. I have experience working with gifted and neurodivergent children. I hold current CPR certification. I began working with kids when I was tutoring in college. I later raised my two sons in Seattle. Both are now in college, one studying mechanical engineering, and the other studying biochem. Both are kind and loving young men. I coached a girls basketball team for 3 years. I have designed and taught youth art classes through the Seattle Public Schools and my art studio. In my spare time, I like to cook, paint, garden, walk my dogs, hike, travel, and spend time with friends and family.
