About Julie

I'd describe my personality as friendly calming curious I like working with kids because they are so eager to learn and grow. I'm looking for a full time weekday job that allows me to support myself and my family by helping another family care for their 3-6-year-old(s) child(ren). I would bring my 5-year-old boy along whom I'm homeschooling. I would hope the family would allow me to take the children to park days and field trips library etc. I started working with kids when I had my own. I homeschooled my five children through high school. Then I tutored online k-college. Then I worked at a preschool. Then I worked at a Montessori charter school as a kindergarten assistant teacher. In my spare time, I like to read , garden , hike, go to the beach, go to farmers markets, cook, play games , do puzzles. I believe in "gentle parenting". Unfortunately I cannot do dogs cats hamsters gerbils mice / rats or reptiles. :)
