About Julie

Hi! I've worked with children of all ages in all types of roles for over 30 years. I started at 13 working childcare at a bowling alley and as an after-school nanny through high school. I later worked childcare at gyms, earned my AA in Early Childhood Education, was a lead preschool teacher, and worked as both a live-in and full-time nanny. I have experience with special needs, learning differences, medical conditions, and unique situations. My youngest had cancer at 12-13, so I also have firsthand experience caring for a child through a serious illness. I'm open to PT, FT, occasional care, overnights, mother's helper work, or babysitting in my home. I enjoy all ages and love fostering their curiosity through play, arts and crafts, science projects, parks, music, libraries, and fun places to explore. I'm emotionally intelligent, intuitive, playful, and communicative with parents. I'm CPR/First Aid trained, TrustLine background checked, have excellent references, and drive an SUV.
